Gauntlet Hair are set to bring their British tour to a close with a show in London tonight (February 21st).
It takes a lot for a guitar band to excite us, these days. Sad but true…
The sheer overkill of six string sounds means that bands have to work extra hard to stand out. Gauntlet Hair, though, seem to find it all remarkably easy with their self-titled album seeming to spring from somewhere quite unique.
Andy R (guitar, vocals) and Craig Nice (drums, triggers) have been making music together since they were kids, which perhaps explains the chemistry so obvious on their debut album. Arriving on British shores earlier this month, the band have played a number of dreamy, hallucinogenic shows.
Now the tour is set to draw to an end. Gauntlet Hair are due to play the Shacklewell Arms in London tonight (February 21st) marking the end of their first ever tour on these Isles.
