South London event returns...

South London's GALA Festival will return this summer.

The community minded event occupies Peckham Rye Park, but took 2020 off in line with the pandemic.

With new guidance from the government, GALA aims to return in 2021, taking place on July 31st and August 1st.

Matching house to disco via hip-hop and jazz, the line up leans on local talent, while also making room for international names.

Bradley Zero leads the charge, and the Rhythm Section head honcho will be joined Dan Shake, Dele Sosimi, Dan Aye, Marcellus Pittman, Pinty, and the mighty Norman Jay.

Gilles Peterson will perform at GALA Festival, with the bill also making room for Jayda G, MCDE, CC: DISCO! and Ruby Savage.

Tickets are on sale now.

GALA Festival runs between July 31st and August 1st.
