Returning Sunderland types The Futureheads have confirmed details of an intimate London show.
Breaking free from 679 Records after their second album ‘News And Tributes’, The Futureheads seemed to find a new lease of life. Re-igniting their own label the band set about releasing a collection post-punk nuggets.
‘This Is Not The World’ was a sensational return, buoyed by the chart success of sprightly single ‘The Beginning Of The Twist’. Containing all the energy of their debut but with the experimentation of their neglected second album, The Futureheads’ latest record delighted fans.
Playing several British tours the band stormed the festival circuit, with The Futureheads providing some much needed indie pop thrills. Returning to the studio for a quick fire return, the band have already demonstrated the potency of their new material.
Exclusively through ClashMusic the band have offered fans a new free download. Taken from their forthcoming album the track ‘Struck Dumb’ is a live anthem in the making, featuring a chorus tailor made for sweaty venues.

The Futureheads are set to follow this with an intimate show in London’s Lexington venue on December 14th. A tiny venue by their standards just over 200 people will cram into the show to witness the band unfurl their fourth album.
Tickets for the show will go on sale today (November 26th) so act quick!
