Saint Albans’ shoegaze troupe Friendly Fires are among the new additions to the T In The Park bill.
As you could probably tell from the massive, traffic hampering queues extending around Scottish cities, T In The Park is back. This year’s event promises to be very special indeed, with the Balado crowds due to be entertained with a stunning bill.
Headlined by Kings Of Leon, Snow Patrol and returning Britpop heroes Blur, T In The Park continues its reputation for gaining star names with a bill packed with musical fun.
New additions include Detroit legend Jeff Mills. At the forefront of the second wave of techno, Mills is a dance music legend whose sets are highly cherished by his devoted band of followers.
One of the acts perhaps inadvertently influenced by Mills are English shoegaze merchants Friendly Fires. In love with the rave sounds of the early 90s, Friendly Fires’ self-titled debut album was a stunning shock to the system last year, containing some outstanding singles.
In other T-related news, camping tickets have now sold out. So those who wish to indulge in the bedlam of the Balado camping experience will now have to miss out.
T In The Park takes place between July 10th – 12th.
