Didn’t get away this summer? Did all your mates make it to Ibiza, larging it up while you sweated away at work, hating your life? If so, we can’t do much about refunding your time (soz), but how about we bring the Ibiza party to your doorstep instead?
Ibiza Rocks is the live music institution that has enlivened the White Isle since 2005. Inviting over the biggest artists and best new talents from multi genres to bring the party, in the last decade they’ve hosted the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, Florence And The Machine, Ed Sheeran, Alt-J, Disclosure, and The 1975, while this summer The Libertines headlined their incredible 10th birthday show, confirming their status as the home of live music in Ibiza.
Fresh Out The Box is Ibiza Rocks’ UK monthly new music series at London’s BOXPARK complex in Shoreditch, presenting a selection of handpicked new and unsigned UK artists that extol the island brand’s visceral energy.
Next up, on November 19th, is a Marshall London takeover that features a headline set from explosive rock band Bones, whose latest single, ‘Pretty Waste’, just popped up in Orange Is The New Black, and the DJ talents of Radio 1’s new music champion, Phil Taggart. Supporting guests are TBA – keep a watchful eye on www.ibizarocks.com for updates as they happen.
This is followed up on December 10th with the soulful hip-hop of The Age Of L.U.N.A. and West London MC, AJ Tracey. Phil Taggart returns, joined by DJs from The Amy Winehouse Foundation and The Joe Strummer Foundation.
All events are free entry, with complimentary drinks provided on the night.
