Following the release of their top ten scoring LP ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’ (full Clash Music album review here), art-rockers Franz Ferdinand have now added a full UK tour for October .
Following on from their recent return to the live circuit when the band sold out a series of UK dates, Franz have been taking their newly re-vamped dance direction on the road, with tracks such as electro-prog out ‘Lucid Dreams’ proving to be hugely popular.
Currently tearing up venues throughout their mammoth U.S. tour, Franz will return to the UK to headline Scotland’s T In The Park with Kings Of Leon on Friday 10th July.
The group have also just completed a triumphant set at this year’s Coachella festival in California, where Alex Kapranos was reportedly heckled by an excitable fan. The singer jokingly responded to the taunt, adding “Someone in the crowd wants to see my nipples..there’s not a lot going on there I’m afraid..”
