Massive band plays massive shows…
Foo Fighters

Currently on the promo trail for their newly released ‘Sonic Highways’ LP – Clash review to come when we get enough minutes – Foo Fighters have confirmed a bunch of massive shows for 2015 on these united shores of ours.

Tickets for the below-listed dates go on sale on November 21st. Expect to hear some ‘Sonic Highways’ cuts beside a clutch of catalogue classics. Our favourites? Well, ‘Everlong’, obviously – and there are people on the team partial to ‘Stacked Actors’, ‘I’ll Stick Around’ and ‘The Pretender’. Yeah, we like the heavier stuff.

It’s worth noting that next year’s gigs mark the 20th anniversary of the band. Which is a great way to make any music writer feel old on a Thursday morning. Support at Wembley comes from Iggy Pop and Royal Blood, and the latter pair also plays Edinburgh.

May
25th – Stadium of Light, Sunderland
27th – Old Trafford, Manchester

June
19th + 20th – Wembley Stadium, London
23rd – Murrayfield, Edinburgh

Presale – whatever that means – commences on November 19th, and lasts until 9am on the 21st. Register for that here – and, after, get tickets at all regular outlets for such things.
