They’ve been making some serious noise in the capital for the last two years, and now cult underground label Fluffer Records have announced a new series of events in association with Clash to further rock the city’s foundations.
Having previously introduced God Damn, Cerebral Ballzy and Slaves, Fluffer can be relied upon for finding and presenting the best in psych, punk and garage – their live shows are similarly bone-crushing, and their new series of Pit Parties promises to be even more so.
Five monthly Pit Parties launch on November 14th at a secret East London warehouse (details TBA), where four bands are set to perform in the middle of the floor surrounded 360 by their baying fans. With no stage to separate them, it allows the audience to get up close and sweaty with a bevy of electrifying new bands.
The launch night sees performances from Copenhagen grunge trio Baby In Vain, gothabilly overlords Eighteen Nightmares At The Lux and fuzz monsters Dressmaker, while secret guest headliners will bring things to a storming climax.
With only 150 tickets available for each event, which are co-sponsored by Marshall London / Marshall Headphones and Signature Brew, demand is set to be high, so hot-foot it now over to DICE to pick up yours.
In the meantime, more info is available on the Fluffer Pit Parties Facebook group, and main website.
