Florence & The Machine have confirmed plans for a series of arena shows this December.
Florence & The Machine just keep getting bigger. Earlier this year the band returned with a new album, and toasted its success with some high profile shows.
ClashMusic writer Jamie Carson caught the band at Alexandra Palace, and came away suitably impressed: “The easiest and most direct way to describe this Florence show is epic. It’s like watching all the director’s cut Lord Of The Rings movies with the commentary turned on accompanied by the hundred and twenty hours of extra features.”
Sound enticing? Well Florence & The Machine are set to see out the year with an arena tour. Dates were announced this morning, opening with a show in Exeter’s Westpoint Arena on December 4th.
Hitting the O2 in London on December 5th, the run of shows ends in Liverpool on December 10th. Heading over to Ireland, Florence & The Machine will play a one off Dublin date on December 12th.
Support on all dates comes from HAIM, with tickets going on sale at 9am on September 12th.
