Tickets for Florence & The Machine’s Spring 2012 tour went on sale this morning (November 25th).
Heady days for Florence & The Machine. The band’s second album ‘Ceremonials’ was a global smash, selling more than 1 million copies in just two weeks. Despite a minor, music video related hiccup the singer’s rise has been remarkably smooth, with the new LP making a severe dent on the Stateside countdown.
Announcing a typically vast UK tour, Florence & The Machine asked The Horrors to come along with them. A double pairing of British talent, it represents some of the largest shows either group has undertaken.
Stretching throughout Spring 2012, the dates will bring ‘Ceremonials’ to a live audience. Tickets for the lengthy series of shows went on sale this morning (November 25th) and demand is expected to be huge.
If you can’t get tickets to the shows, then Florence Welch has a number of surprises up her well-embroidered sleeve. The singer is set to take over Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show tonight (November 25th) playing some of her favourite cuts.
On hand to chat about their influences, Florence Welch and band member Isa (aka The Machine) will be joined by Jamie Reynolds from Klaxons and Oliver Sim from The xx. Elsewhere, mini mixes will come from producer Paul Epworth and international DJ/Producer Benny Benassi.
Tune in tonight (November 25th) from 7pm.
