American word of mouth sensations Fleet Foxes have arranged a series of UK tour dates taking them into new and unexplored parts of the nation.
Signed to Sub Pop, Seattle’s Fleet Foxes make a gorgeous blend of Americana. Their self-titled debut album was a triumph of mature songwriting and great musicianship, bowling over critics across the land.
With minimal hype the album has gone on to become a massive success in this country. Fleet Foxes have added gold and then platinum discs to their walls in recent weeks, with their debut album even reaching the Top Five after the Brit Award ceremony.
The band were virtually unknown even a year ago. Favoured by a few select listeners, it seems as though everyone who has heard their debut album has become a vocal evangelist, promoting the album on the band’s behalf.
Fleet Foxes recently completed a residency at London’s Roundhouse venue, and this new tour sees them head out into the regions. A celebrated live act, the band’s natural charisma and stunning harmonies are capable of winning over any audience.
