The first names have been announced for newly minted festival We Out Here.

The event takes place in the Cambridgeshire countryside this summer, and represents a joint venture between Brownswood, Worldwide FM, and Gilles Peterson.

It's a cutting edge line up, with Gary Bartz, spiritual jazz icon Idris Ackamoor, Moses Boyd, and the Steam Down orchestra all performing live.

Shabaka Hutchings will appear twice – with Sons of Kemet and The Comet Is Coming – while Kojey Radical and Children of Zeus will take part.

It's not just jazz, however, with We Out Here also showcasing left field club culture via Theo Parrish, Francois K, Call Super, Objekt, Josey Rebelle and Skee Mask.

Tickets are on sale now.
