First Aid Kit are set to showcase their second album with a quick burst of British tour dates next year.
Saddle Creek is a helluva long way from Sweden. Yet when it came to constructing their second album, First Aid Kit knew that they would have to work with the American collective.
Constructed with Mike Mogis at the helm, the Swedish duo’s new album ‘The Lion’s Roar’ is a typically Saddle Creek affair with guests dropping by throughout.
Set to be released on Wichita next year, First Aid Kit’s new material has been kept firmly under wraps. Lead single (and title track) ‘The Lion’s Roar’ is set to be released on December 5th, check out the video below…

Meanwhile, First Aid Kit have confirmed plans for a short British tour. Taking place at the tail end of February, the tour opens with a London show at Kings College on February 23rd.
Hitting Manchester on February 24th, the tour continues with shows in Dublin, Glasgow and Leeds. Finishing with a visit to Bristol, First Aid Kit will play quayside venue Thekla on February 29th.
Tickets for these dates go on sale on November 23rd (except Dublin which go on sale on November 24th).
