The acclaimed Field Day festival is ready and raring to go after confirming its final bill.
Set in London’s historic Victoria Park, just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Field Day offers peace, sanctuary and great tunes to the fans of indie and dance. With every effort being made to improve on site facilities, Field Day looks to be, well, a grand day out.
Headliners this year include Oxford math-rock group Foals, London songstress Laura Marling and those pop outsiders from Eel Pie Island the one and only Mystery Jets. Alongside these group will be appearances from acts as varied as New York indie rockers Les Savy Fav and dubstep pioneer Benga. Field Day can boast some of the best new music around with sets from Simian Mobile Disco and Fife’s own King Creosote planned.
With everyone who’s anyone playing Field Day you’d have to have a good excuse to miss out. Like Cut Copy, who have discovered that they are already booked for Norway’s Oya Festival.
Field Day takes place in Victoria Oark, London on August 9th.
