Feist is set to follow her new album ‘Metals’ with a short burst of British shows next year.
An effortless return, Feist’s new album ‘Metals’ has won near unanimous acclaim. The Canadian singer ended a period of silence, working withChilly Gonzales, Mocky and Valgeir Sigurðsson to construct new material.
Recorded in California’s Big Sur area, ‘Metals’ is a relaxed, confident return. Now Feist has outlined plans for a lengthy European tour in Spring 2012, including a short series of British shows.
The full European tour opens in March with an Oslo date, before reaching British shores. Feist is set to play the Royal Albert Hall on March 25th, one of the singer’s largest headline shows in the UK to date.
Performing in the Manchester Apollo on March 26th, the short series of UK shows ends with a visit to Glasgow. Due to play the city’s Royal Concert Hall, the show on March 27th will be the final British show on the European leg of Feist’s tour.
A fans only pre-sale for tickets opens tomorrow (November 9th) at 9am, before opening up to the general public on Friday (November 11th) at 9am.
