Fanzine have unveiled a new home made video alongside a host of nationwide tour dates.
The current glut of indie rock newcomers round these parts is making for some exciting listening. Signed to Fat Possum – already home to Yuck – Fanzine have spent 2011 quietly winning applause.
Hitting the studio recently, Fanzine laid down enough material for their debut single. Available on download and seven inch vinyl, ‘Roman Holiday’ is an addictive piece of hazy alt rock that references 90s greats – think Mudhoney, Pavement – without ever becoming reverential.
Lovely stuff. Patching together some home footage, Fanzine have now unveiled the hand made video to their forthcoming single. Watch the clip for ‘Roman Holiday’ below:

Available from November 22nd, Fanzine have arranged a slew of dates to coincide with their debut single. Mixing headline shows with some prime support slots, the band will launch the tour at the end of October.
Playing a single launch show at London’s Shacklewell Arms on November 10th, the dates continue with gigs in Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and more.
Ending in London on November 28th, Fanzine will support Unknown Mortal Orchestra at XOYO.
