Exit Festival Gets Bigger

N.E.R.D., The Streets Plus More Confirmed

One of central Europe’s biggest festivals just got bigger with the confirmation that N.E.R.D. and The Streets are set to play Serbia’s Exit festival.

Set in a genuine Medieval fortress in Petrovaradin, near Novi Sad, Exit has risen from a simple student protest into one of Europe’s leading festivals. Mixing art and music with a very special atmosphere of disobedience, Exit blends genres in a line up that always defies convention.

This year headline sets can be expected from hip hop gurus N.E.R.D. and brummie poet The Streets. But while those sets are enticing in their own right, the true atmosphere of the festival can be gauged away from the main stage. Artists such as Roni Size Reprazent, Skream, Benga and the legendary Africa Baambaata.

Encompassing all genres of music, Exit remains open minded in every sense. The dance arena alone is reckoned to be among Europe’s best, with up to 20,000 people giving it large in a crumbling fortress.

Exit Festival takes place in Petrovaradin Fortress, Novi Sad, Serbia between July 10th – 13th.
