Dorset festival End Of The Road is set to return this summer with a line up headlined by American post rock legends Explosions In The Sky.
Taking place in September, End Of The Road is fitting way to end the festival season. Combining a small, uniquely beautiful site with an eclectic bill the event has carved out a fine reputation with music fans.
This year’s festival will feature a very special performance from American post rock group Explosions In The Sky. The band’s soundscapes make for a stunning live show, and performances in this country are few and far between.
Joining the American pioneers on the bill are Seattle act Fleet Foxes. A word of mouth sensation, the group’s debut album is still in the top ten, with Fleet Foxes being nominated at the recent Brit award ceremony.
The Dodos are also set to play the End Of The Road festival. The band were recently named by New York group Les Savy Fav as thier favourite live group in the world – high praise indeed!
End Of The Road also supports new British talent with the Broken Family Band joining the line up. Also on the bill are hotly tipped folk group Mumford & Sons, The Acorn and frantic blues busters Archie Bronson Outfit.
End Of The Road takes place between September 11th – 12th.
