Kasabian added to bill

Cornwall’s Eden Sessions are set to return in 2009 with Kasabian confirmed as a headline act alongside Manchester group Oasis.

Taking place in the award winning Eden Project venue, the event combines a remarkable setting with a bill that attracts some of the biggest names in British music.

Reformed Britpop heroes The Verve performed a very special last year, and were due to be joined by Oasis before an onstage attack on Noel Gallagher left the guitarist nursing bruised ribs.

The group should – fingers crossed – appear this year. Kasabian have also been added to the bill, with the Leicester group prepare to release a new album later in the year.

The two groups are seemingly joined at the hip this year, with Kasabian providing support for Oasis’ stadium tour.

Kasabian will play The Eden Project on July 4th.

Oasis will play The Eden Project on July 14th.
