Eddie Vedder has confirmed plans to play five solo shows in Europe this summer.
Eddie Vedder still likes to surprise. Pearl Jam turned twenty last year, with the legendary grunge outfit preparing a biopic, a book lengthy biography and a lengthy re-issue series. At which point, the singer decided to reach for his ukelele.
One of the year’s most unexpected diversions, Eddie Vedder released ‘Ukelele Songs’ to divided opinion. Playing a number of American shows, though, it became clear that the project was close to the singer’s heart.
Now Eddie Vedder has outlined plans for his first ever batch of European shows. Opening with two nights in Amsterdam, the dates hit the UK for two very special performances.
The singer will perform at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on July 28th, before appearing at London’s HMV Apollo Hammersmith.
Ending with an appearance at Portugal’s Sudoeste Festival on August 3rd, tickets became available for fan club members yesterday (March 12th). For the rest of us, the sale opens at 9am on March 23rd.
