New York reggae collective Easy Star All-Stars are set to return with a new album and tour in the coming months, and their third record has seen the band create a unique ‘re-imagining’ of The Beatles’ classic ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’.
Following their past ‘Dub Side Of The Moon’ and ‘Radiodread’, the collective follow the age-old Jamaican tradition of creating cover versions, and have this time decided to tackle none other than a Fab Four classic.
The first single to be taken from the album will be ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ – which is set to feature Jamaican reggae star Luciano – has already been made available to fans via iTunes.
