The East End Film Festival is set to return this summer, bringing a host of international cinematic activity to London's E postcodes.
As ever, the event will have a strong music feel. The festival's music programme has now been confirmed, with Clash able to pick out a few gems.
'Lee Scratch Perry's Vision of Paradise' is due to be screened on July 4th, with reggae icon Lee 'Scratch' Perry and director Volker Schaner in attendance. Elsewhere, the festival will oversee the vinyl release and film premiere of an East End Film Festival commissioned re-score soundtrack to 'The Strange Colour of Your Body's Tears', curated by Blanck Mass.
The event will host a screening of 'Derailed Sense: A Film About Vic Godard and Subway Sect' on July 10th, while Stephen Coates will present the incredible true story of how enterprising bootleggers used x-ray technology to sneak Western music into the Soviet Union.
East End Film Festival runs between July 1st – 12th.
