Canadian rapper Drake has announced a nine date arena tour for Spring 2012.
Drake is living proof that mainstream hip hop can still push back barriers. The Canadian rapper released his new album ‘Take Care’ earlier this year, smashing into charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
Title cut ‘Take Care’ recently went Top Ten under its own steam. Featuring guest production from Jamie xx and an appearance from Rihanna, Drake managed to match underground styles with a pop touch.

Announcing nine shows for Spring 2012, Drake is set to open the tour in London on March 26th. The dates continue with appearances in Sheffield and Cardiff, before hitting Manchester on April 1st.
Shifting to Glasgow’s SECC, the tour then comes back down the country with dates in Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Nottingham.
Tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday (December 16th).
