It looks like a wet one...

In an update on Donington Park’s Download Festival (running from 8th-10th June), there is still unfortunately no change in the weekend’s weather - there’s no escaping it, it’s going to be a wet one, so make sure you pack your black wellies.

You can try and cross your fingers for a dramatic change, but BBC Weather, the Met Office and Sky News are still giving similar reports that the weather will be at it’s wettest on the Friday with heavy rain and black clouds, but with the weather staying at a mild 15C. Saturday will clear up for the day with the temperature rising to 17C, but the Sunday brings a return of those looming clouds and rain.

This years Download Festival marks its 10th and will be celebrated with a wide variety of artists including Metallica (playing the iconic ‘Black Album’ in its entirety), The Prodigy, Biffy Clyro, Tenacious D, Chase And Status and returning metal pioneers Black Sabbath.

But, as we all know, festivals aren’t just about the music. Download also hosts other alternative activities such as Rockaoke, fancy dress parties and comedians, along with the regular novelty alcoholic treats such as Jagermeister and their two specially converted ex-military 25 tonne vehicles converted into a sub zero ice bar known as the JägerIce Truck.

Download runs between June 8th - 10th.
