Dot To Dot festival returns this summer with appearances from The Drums, Pulled Apart By Horses, Willy Mason and more.
Spread across three cities, Dot To Dot brings together new talent and established acts, industry insiders and fresh hopefuls. Returning this summer, the festival will hit Bristol (June 2nd), Nottingham (June 3rd) and Manchester (June 4th) on the Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.
The first line up announcement has been made, with American indie pop outfit The Drums set to appear. Long time Anglophiles, the band will be able to perform in Bristol – close to the home of Sarah Records.
Elsewhere, post-hardcore nutjobs Pulled Apart By Horses have been added to the bill. Famed for their no-holds-barred live show, the band will not be holding back on their visit to the three city event.
Returning American troubadour Willy Mason will perform at Dot To Dot, while Summer Camp and Lucy Rose have also confirmed their involvement.
Making a return to their Nottingham hometown, fast rising newcomers Dog Is Dead will be ones to watch at the event. Before Christmas the band sold out Rock City, with their hometown following spilling out over the country.
With their debut album lingering on the release schedule, Dog Is Dead will have something special up their sleeves for the festival crowd.
Dot To Dot Organiser Anton Lockwood commented: “More than ever Dot To Dot 2012 will see a great line up of exciting new music alongside the hottest live acts at the moment. Our first announcement of indie titans The Drums and fast rising rockers Pulled Apart by Horses sets the tone for Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester to each have a great day of fresh and exciting music.”
ClashMusic will be partnering throughout, so watch this space for news, reviews, features and bonus coverage.
Tickets are on sale now, priced at £20 per day.
Dot To Dot runs between June 2nd – 4th.
