Evolution, a spectacular event held in Newcastle and Gateshead, has confirmed Dizzee Rascal, White Lies and many more for the two day festival.
Evolution has grown to become the North East’s premiere event. The area has lacked a strong voice on the festival scene, but now in its eight year Evolution can compete with any event in the country.
This year’s headliners will include Dizzee Rascal, who scored the biggest hit of last summer in ‘Dance Wiv Me’. The ever entertaining UK hip hop star will be joined the rather more downbeat White Lies – it remains to be seen how the London’s bands gloomy anthems will translate in the summer sun.
Joining the musicians on the bill are the hotly tipped Little Boots, VV Brown, New Zealand electro minx Ladyhawke and many more.
As well as live music Evolution has confirmed a number of big name DJs including Kissy Sell Out and Boys Noize.
Evolution takes place in Newcastle and Gateshead between May 24th – 25th.
