Depeche Mode have confirmed plans for a five date arena tour this winter – ticket details below.
Depeche Mode's return has served to underline their stature. New album 'Delta Machine' has become an international success, while it's patient, brooding update on the band's classic sound has delighted critics.
ClashMusic writer (and renowned Depeche Mode fanatic) Mat Smith was clearly enthused, stating: "The album neatly acts as a modernised summary of every style the band have worked with, fusing 1981-vintage drum machines, glitchy synth melodies, industrial distortion and dirty guitar riffs, all framed by lyrics laced with the traditional Mode themes of faith, death, insecurity and control."
Now the group are set to hit the road. Announcing plans for an international tour, Depeche Mode have signalled their intentions to play five arena dates across the UK this winter.
Opening in Glasgow on November 11th, the band will play Scotland before hitting Leeds and Manchester. Shifting London on November 19th, Depeche Mode are set to hit the O2 Arena for their first show in the capital for some time.
Taking a short break, the tour then ends in Birmingham on January 27th. Tickets go on general sale this Friday (April 12th) at 9am.
