Death From Above 1979 Tickets Sell Out

Massive scramble for tickets

Tickets for the Death From Above 1979 show have sold out within minutes of going on sale.

Releasing just one album, Death From Above 1979 proved that sometimes brevity can be as effective a lengthy back catalogue. Smashing electronics and all out rock noise together, the Canadian duo remain cult heroes.

Going on to work with MSTRKRFT amongst others, the visceral thrill of Death From Above 1979 has proved agonisingly difficult to beat. Reforming for a one off show at Coachella, the duo sparked huge excitement.

Initially set to be a one off set, Death From Above 1979 quickly announced a second show in Austria. The possibility of a European tour set alarm bells ringing, and when a London date was confirmed fans went into a virtual meltdown.

The genuine answer to some people’s prayers, a Death From Above 1979 live show mixes all out noise, sweat, blood, tears and plenty of inspiration.

Due to play the HMV Forum in London later this year, tickets for the show went on sale this morning (February 11th). Demand was enormous, with ticket agencies reporting a massive rush for passes.

Sadly, all tickets for the show have now sold out. Taking place on May 5th, the gig sold out within minutes of going on sale, with fans not caring that full details of the line up have yet to be announced.

Support details will be confirmed closer to the time. There remains the possibility of returns, for the latest details click HERE.
