Canadian electro icon deadmau5 has confirmed details of a lavish new UK tour this winter.
deadmau5 is one of the most iconic DJs on the electro scene. A renowned producer and remix artist the Canadian dons an instantly recognisable mouse mask for his blistering live appearances.
Created in honour of a real life rodent which perished in his hard drive, deadmau5 has become one of the biggest live attractions in dance music. Arranging a series of British shows, the producer has hooked up with an all star cast.
Set to be one of the most talked about dance tours of the year, upcoming shows will see deadmau5 joined by some stunning attractions. Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe will warm up on the dates, fresh from a summer broadcasting from a festival near you.
Other acts on the bill include Stanton Warriors, while Calvin Harris is set to supply an exclusive DJ set. Meanwhile, fast rising dubstep trio Magnetic Man have confirmed a support role, with their debut album set to be massive.
Recent single ‘I Need Air’ cracked the Top Ten, with their forthcoming full player no doubt set to bring dubstep to the album charts. deadmau5 has roped in the bass trio for the dates, which include a massive show at London’s Earls Court.
The new tour opens in Bournemouth on December 8th, before the Canadian DJ heads off around the country. Dates follow in Coventry, Glasgow and more with the tour finishing with an epic London show at Earls Court.
Tickets for the upcoming shows go on sale from 9am this Friday (September 3rd). Fans who book early will receive a free mp3 version of the classic deadmau5 track ‘A City In Florida’ as a little present.
