American blues-rockers The Dead Weather have confirmed details of a new London live date.
The Dead Weather have been one of the most talked about groups of the year. In a surprise turn of events Jack White invited some close friends to the offices of his Nashville based label Third Man.
Taking to the stage with some all-star cohorts The Dead Weather blasted through a short set and caused a huge commotion in the music world. Containing members of The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Kills and Queens Of The Stone Age the group came with considerable pedigree.
Playing a very select batch of gigs The Dead Weather whetted fans appetites with their seismic live show. The group performed a surprise set at this summer’s Glastonbury event, before heading out on tour.
Debut album ‘Horehound’ followed soon after, allowing fans to finally hear what all the fuss is about. A stunning mesh of blues and rock, Jack White takes a back seat to Alison Mosshart’s wailing vocals.
The Dead Weather are set to return to the UK for a new tour next month. Opening with a show in Manchester on October 19th the band have now added an extra date at London’s HMV Forum.
