Norwegian rave-rioters Datarock are set to return, and have added a second date to their forthcoming UK jaunt after selling out London’s Barfly.
The duo are set to return with their second album ‘Red’, revealing recently that all equipment used on their next album was made before 1983, and hinted at a West African inspiration that runs throughout.
In a blog to fans, the pair outlined their retro-loving inspiration, adding “the years between ’76 and ’83 are in all ways the peak of cultural evolution. The zenith, the rise and the fall..”
Datarock will also be stopping off for shows in Brighton at the Great Escape festival, as well as the forthcoming Camden Crawl event alongside The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Maccabees.
