D/R/U/G/S has been added to the upcoming tour from German producer Digitalism.
Real name Callum Wright, D/R/U/G/S made a massive impression with just one 12 inch. ‘Love / Lust’ was house music, but with an intelligent edge that saw the producer move beyond dancefloor fodder.
Sure, the tempos were high but D/R/U/G/S seemed to be aiming at a higher purpose. Returning with the new three disc release ‘Connected’ the producer has also been added to a high profile tour.
‘Connected’ will be released on November 28th, with Moshi Moshi offshoot Tender Age handling the project.
By the time the disc drops D/R/U/G/S will be exposed to countless thousand new fans. The producer has been added to the new European tour from Digitalism, with the German producer headlining some massive venues.
Set to hit the UK and Ireland later this month, the tour opens in Dublin on October 30th. Focussing on Academy venues, Digitalism will play shows in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and more.
Ending in London, Digitalism will play a headline set at the Forum. D/R/U/G/S will play a support set at each show and it will be intriguing to discover just how the Manchester talent adapts to larger venues.
