Greater London Authority have announced the line up for this year’s Rise Festival, and it looks a corker with C.S.S. and The Aliens amongst the headliners.
Taking place in London’s Finsbury Park, the festival is organised by Greater London Authority to celebrate diversity in the capital. Headlined by Brazilian popper C.S.S. and Fife indie troupe The Aliens, it is certainly diverse, especially given the presence of reggae legend Jimmy Cliff.
Further down the bill, festival goers will be entertained by beat boxing’s cult hero Beardyman and the Dub Pistols. As if that wasn’t enough, soul stars Sharon Jones And The Dap-Kings will drop in to see what condition the party is in, bringing with them a barrage of funky horn laden riffs.
The Rise Festival is set to take place in London’s Finsbury Park on July 13th.
