Dance event Creamfields is the highlight of the summer for many dance lovers, and the organisers aim to make life easier by teaming up with Validate UK to launch a new ID scheme.
The festival has joined forced with Validate UK to promote the use of ID cards at festivals – meaning that those who attend can safely leave important documents such as their passport at home. Festival goers will be directed to the Validate UK website, where they can buy ID cards cheaply and securely. When attending the event, those who are over 21 will be given a special band that allows them clear access to the bar – it’s that easy!
This latest move is in addition to the Challenge 21 initiative already in place on the site. Creamfields have announced these plans in the same week as the Scottish Parliament unveiled plans to raise the legal age to 21 when purchasing alcohol in an off-license or supermarket.
Creamfields turns ten this summer with an amazing extravaganza that unites the best in dance music, old and new. Headliners for this year’s event include Fatboy Slim, Pendulum, Sasha, Kasabian, Paul Oakenfold and Soulwax.
