Courting, DITZ, The Queens Head For Bristol’s Outer Town Festival

It takes place in April 2023...

While being one of the most exciting cities in the UK for creative scenes, Bristol is also home to Outer Town Festival, a multi-venue festival with a DIY ethos and passion for the best new music from Bristol and further afield. 2022 was the first year of Outer Town, boasting a stacked lineup of bands who have now grabbed the rest of the year by the throat, like Deadletter, Opus Kink, John and Bristol favourites Saloon Dion (among many others). The event is one of few that is truly striving to inject a local scene with even more attention and following, and never once loses its integrity and identity as a festival.

Today, Outer Town Festival has announced its first wave of bands for 2023. Clash-favourites Courting are headlining, with performances from Ditz, The Pleasure Dome and Getdown Services also coming to the festival.

Also, this year Outer Town are introducing Outer Town Market, a space exclusively for local creatives and independent businesses, continuing with their ethos of channelling the best of the underground, DIY and local scene.

The festival takes place in the Old Market area of Bristol, next to the city centre, with acts playing in venues including Exchange, Exchange Basement, Ill Repute, Elmers Arms and The Old Market Assembly. It is a festival that thrives on the best of the underground and bringing these bands to some of the loudest and sweatiest rooms Bristol has to offer.

Tickets on sale now.

Outer Town Festival takes place on April 16th.
