The bill for this year’s Connect Festival has been announced, with headliners set to include Manic Street Preachers, Kasabian and Franz Ferdinand.
Set in the beautiful location of Inverary Castle, on the banks of Loch Fyne, Connect has built a name for itself as the alternative to fellow Scottish event T In The Park. Last year’s event boasted special sets from the likes of Bjork and The Beastie Boys, and was regarded as one of the top festivals from last summer.
This year Connect has a bill topped by the Manics, but further down punters will find such talent as Duffy, Elbow, Sigor Ros, Grinderman and Spiritualized. Whilst not as stunning as last year’s bill there more than enough delights to keep the pickiest of music fans happy.
Connect takes place over the weekend of August 29th – 31st.
