Up close at his sell out London show...

Declaring to his girlfriend in the front row how happy he is and that he is in a good place, it was a sentiment shared by everyone in the sold out Omeara venue. Stepping into Collard’s world is like stumbling across a scene from The Talented Mr Ripley, with the characters immersed in the smoky atmosphere of a tucked away Neapolitan jazz club as they jump on stage and jam away with the band.

Collard and the experience he delivers is seamless; from the impeccable performance of his carefully constructed band, to his infectious charm as he courts the crowd before wooing them with each delicately powerful number. Having been with this exquisite artist from the beginning, it has been a delight to witness the evolution of Collard as he comes into his own with such a naturally smooth and graceful confidence in his performance. Everything about it is timeless and poignantly intimate in its execution.

His debut album ‘Unholy’ is a compelling and enchanting work of art that is so flawless and prodigious it could not be a more impressive record, and yet somehow Collard pushes beyond its limit to achieve an entirely new level of excellence on stage.

The range and variation of the original music explored with his live performance is astounding. His level of ingenuity and the chemistry among the musicians on stage is the perfect formula, and enables Collard to create a totally new show with each performance – captivating audiences and bringing back fans time and again. He is an artist and performer unlike any other around, a hidden gem you’d be hard pressed to find and one who leaves you with an unquenchable thirst for more.

Collard’s live performance goes beautifully off-piste to unchartered terrain that is so pure and pristine, it is as if he has reinvented the whole experience of live music entirely.
