Coachella 2013 Line Up Confirmed

The Stone Roses, Phoenix and Red Hot Chili Peppers to headline

The line up for this year's Coachella has been unveiled, with The Stone Roses, Phoenix and Red Hot Chili Peppers to headline.

For most, Coachella remains tantalisingly out of reach. The Californian festival manages to piece together stunning exclusives – with last summer's 2Pac hologram perhaps topping the lot.

Preparations are already under way for this summer's event, with organisers revealing the first names on the line up. The Stone Roses are set to headline, with the legendary Mancs due to be joined by Phoenix and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Blur are also planning to take part, with other names including Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, a reformed Jurassic 5 and more.

Nick Cave is set to have a busy weekend, performing in two groups at this summer's Coachella. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are set to play at the event, with Grinderman also taking part.

It's a curious move, given that Grinderman seemed to indicate their demise onstage in Australia just over a year ago. Roaring out of retirement, it's an exciting move – and hopefully one that will be followed by more shows…

Tickets are on sale now.

Coachella runs between April 12th – 14th and April 19th – 21st.
