Tickets for Coachella 2012 have sold out, with Flying Lotus amongst the latest batch of artists to confirm their involvement.
Coachella has a romantic allure that European festivals can’t reach. Based in the Californian desert, the festival has a knack of convincing seminal groups to come out of retirement for one last show.
This year, both At The Drive-In and Refused have decided to get back together. Announcing the bulk of their line up last week, Coachella organisers secured a lengthy list of exclusives.
Tickets went on sale last week, with fans across the globe attempting to book up their pass. The demand for tickets has been incredible, with Coachella now reporting that the event is entirely sold out.
Revealing the news on Twitter, Coachella organisers again thanked fans for their help. Sad news for those who couldn’t gain tickets, the festival line up continues to expand day after day.
Flying Lotus has been in the studio of late, and the mercurial hip hop talent has revealed plans to perform at the festival. Clutching new material, the producer intends to unveil his latest studio at Coachella.
Opening his Twitter account, Flying Lotus wrote: “Going to present the new album at coachella 2012”.
