Returning for its third event, the Rock Ness Festival has announced another monster of a bill that’s set to thrill thousands of music lovers.
Fatboy Slim, who helped pioneer the first festival back in 2006, will re-visit the site for a triumphant return performance. He will be joined by Chicago dance legend Felix Da Housecat, as the festival maintains its dance edge.
Rock fans need not fear, however, as Rock Ness has confirmed a number of guitar-based exclusives. Dundee indie scamps The View will be playing their only Scottish festival date of the year, in the Clash Arena. The band will be joined by Razorlight and Editors – each playing their only set North of the border in the festival season.
Other treats include the boutique Clash Arena. Last year we brought you Daft Punk’s now-iconic set, this year we will bring you an astonishing bill featuring The View, C.S.S., Hadouken! and Simian Mobile Disco.
Tickets go on sale from 9am on January 26th. Weekend tickets cost £100 and can be purchased online at www.ticketline.co.uk, or in person from the following record stores:
Glasgow – Tickets Scotland, SEC Box Office
Edinburgh – Tickets Scotland, Ripping
Dundee – Groucho’s
Aberdeen – One Up
