Ahead of this weekend’s RockNess festival – Clash’s pick of the Scottish fests, featuring the Clash arena no less – we’ve been chatting to a trio of performers.
DJ Yoda, Kissy Sell Out and The Count & Sinden have all taken the time to answer our RockNess-themed Q&A. Click the links below to read our full interviews.
DJ YODA
KISSY SELL OUT
THE COUNT & SINDEN
On who he’d like to share a tent with, Kissy told us: “Devandra Banhart – I’m a massive fan of his albums and we could have an acoustic jam over some Newcastle Brown Ale before bedtime”. On the typical Scottish crowd, Sinden remarked: “I always say the further north in the UK you go, the wilder the crowds get – Scottish crowds, by that theory, are the nuttiest”. And on the festival itself, the previously experienced Yoda told us: “RockNess is a perfect ‘wilderness’ festival for the UK”.
You’ll find the official RockNess website HERE, and stay tuned (do you ‘tune in’ to a website?) to ClashMusic.com for on-site reportage and general nonsense courtesy of our attending team. Pray they don’t get too messy.
