Cee-Lo Green has been forced to re-arrange his forthcoming British tour due to scheduling difficulties.
Achieving fame with Gnarls Barkley, Cee-Lo Green opted to turn solo last year. The transition was expected to prove tricky, with Danger Mouse supplying the deft production which turned ‘Crazy’ into a hit.
How wrong we were. The sheer bravado of ‘Forget You’ turned the track into an international hit, the sort of thing which can transgress generations.
Releasing his new album ‘The Lady Killer’ Cee-Lo Green has enjoyed massive success. Arranging a nationwide tour of the UK tickets were snapped up by eager fans but due to scheduling difficulties the dates will now be re-arranged.
Instead of beginning at the end of February the shows will now take place in March. Opening on March 26th at Glasgow’s ABC venue Cee-Lo Green is set to travel around the UK basking in his success.
Dates in Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol follow with a one off show in London planned. Taking control of the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 29th, tickets for selected shows remain available.
If you bought tickets for the original dates don’t worry – these are still valid. If you are now facing swapping your shifts around then sorry… we’ve all been there.
Elsewhere, Cee-Lo Green could be set to clean up during awards season. Nominated for four Grammy awards, the singer stands a chance of dominating the BRITs after being named in two categories.
