Cee-Lo Green Confirms UK Tour

New dates confirmed

Solo star Cee-Lo Green has confirmed a series of British tour dates for Spring 2011.

One half of Gnarls Barkley, Cee-Lo Green must be used to chart success and acclaim. The Southern star has all the grit of Stax in his voice, but with a cheeky personality and a very modern viewpoint.

The two coalesced recently for the stunning single ‘Forget You’. Initially a tad more blue the track was one of the defining singles of 2010, soaring straight to number one on its release this Autumn.

Buoyed by this, debut solo album ‘The Lady Killer’ raced to the top spot. Confirming Cee-Lo Green as a phenomenon, the singer has kept his British appearances to a minimum despite his vast success.

Now the vocalist is due to break cover with a short British tour. Cee-Lo Green is set to play a series of UK shows next year, moving across the country throughout March.

A wonderful live performer, Cee-Lo Green now has a number one album to boast about. The singer will open the tour in Bristol on March 7th, with dates following in Birmingham, Manchester and more.

Finishing on March 17th in London, Cee-Lo Green is set to play a headline show at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Backed by a full band, the vocalist will play tracks from ‘The Lady Killer’ and beyond.

Tickets for the shows are due to go on sale from 9am on December 17th.

Cee-Lo Green has confirmed the following shows:

March
7 Bristol O2 Academy
12 Birmingham O2 Academy
16 Manchester Academy
17 London Shepherds Bush Empire
