Cat Power is set to play a show at London venue the Roundhouse on December 12th.
Cat Power’s return has been one of the year’s more pleasing musical developments. New album ‘Sun’ is out now, ending a period of silence from the American artist.
Clash were suitably impressed, with Anna Wilson writing: “There’s a lightness and honesty in these compositions, despite their often busy arrangements. It’s tightly controlled, in some ways perhaps overly polished and nowhere near as raw as her previous work, but one can appreciate such need for control.”

Now Cat Power has announced plans for a European tour. Bringing her new band out on the road, Chan Marshall is set to open the dates with a visit to Amsterdam.
Heading to the UK, Cat Power will play London’s historic venue the Roundhouse on December 12th. Tickets for the show are on sale now.
