Cass McCombs has announced plans for a quartet of British shows next Spring.
It’s been a year of contrasts for Cass McCombs. The songwriter released ‘Wit’s End’ at the opening of 2011, with the sombre songwriting reflecting a shy, retiring persona that shunned press attention.
By way of contrast, ‘Humor Risk’ is a full band effort, featuring Cass McCombs on if not quite euphoric then at least decidedly chipper form.
Now the songwriter has confirmed plans for a short British tour. Containing four shows, the Spring concerts mark Cass McCombs’ first foray across the Atlantic for some time.
Opening in Manchester on March 5th, the shows continue with a visit to Glasgow. Hitting Liverpool’s Leaf venue, the short burst of live appearances then concludes with a show in London.
