Caribou Added To I’ll Be Your Mirror

ATP event expands

Caribou have been added to the line up for the forthcoming ATP event I’ll Be Your Mirror.

Launched earlier this year, I’ll Be Your Mirror is the latest event to spring from the ever fertile imagination of ATP. Coming to Britain for two days in July, Portishead have been appointed as curators.

Taking control of the Alexandra Palace, I’ll Be Your Mirror is a mixture of music and art. Work is ongoing on the festival, with the latest round of additions containing some potentially intriguing performances.

Caribou are due to perform at I’ll Be Your Mirror, with the Canadian group joining the ever expanding bill. Led by Dan Snaith, the band are a sensational live act buoyed by the success of ‘Swim’.

Released last year, the record was a real breakthrough for Caribou. A stunning album, it was placed near the top of just about every critical poll going. Elsewhere, Los Angeles collective The Foot Village are due to perform while cult space rock group The Telescopes are set to make a very special appearance.

The new additions join a bill bristling with talent. PJ Harvey is due to perform, with her new album ‘Let England Shake’ proving that her ability to stun fans remains intact. A concept album of sorts, the ambitious new record focusses on warfare and its impact on the nation consciousness.

Elsewhere, Beach House are set to perform with Liars, The Books and Beak> all making guest appearances.

In addition to the musical entertainment, I’ll Be Your Mirror is set to boast an on site cinema, food vendors and more.

I’ll Be Your Mirror runs between July 23rd – 24th.
