Scottish producer Calvin Harris is set to star at a massive event in London on New Year’s Eve.
Calvin Harris has had an incredible year. Teaming up with Dizzee Rascal for last summer’s massive hit ‘Dance Wiv Me’ the producer repeated the trick this year.
Turning back the clock to the rave era with ‘I’m Not Alone’ Calvin Harris rocketed to number one, with the track going on to soundtrack the festival season. With the sun in the sky the nation rocked to Calvin Harris’ beat.
Now it seems a fair percentage of us will be welcoming in the New Year with the DJ. Calvin Harris is due to headline an enormous party this December 31st, with the Scottish producer set to rock the O2 Arena.
Organised by Ministry Of Sound the event will take place in the mammoth arena. Featuring multiple stages and a suspended walkway it seems as though the New Year’s event is one of the most ambitious dance projects of the year.
However Calvin Harris won’t be the only entertainment on display at the O2 Arena show. Dance producer Eric Prydz is also set to play, having conquered the charts with a series of hit singles.
Joining the party will Dave Spoon, with a host of other acts still to be confirmed by organisers Ministry Of Sound.
Tickets go on sale today (October 2nd) at 9am.
