Band Take To The Hills

British Sea Power have announced exciting new plans to host their own festival – in Britain’s highest pub!

The Tan Hill is set high in the Lake District, 1,732 feet above sea level to be precise. The band played a gig their earlier this year, promoting their “Do You Like Rock Music?” album, and are now set to return with a host of friends.

Although the full line up has yet to be announced, British Sea Power are promising a host of fun and frolics at the festival – titled “Sing Ye From The Hillsides!”. The three day, two night event will feature musical mayhem as well as games such as a pub quiz, tug o’ war, duck herding and many more.

As if that wasn’t enough, the band are set to join forces with a local brewery to create a special British Sea Power flavoured beer.

Sing Ye From The Hillsides! takes place from August 29th – 31st.
