Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will play shows in Manchester and Liverpool next year.
The band are on sensational form right now, and CLASH caught The Boss at London’s Wembley Stadium this summer. In our rapturous review, we commented:
The pace simply doesn’t let up. The E Street Band flex their muscles throughout – Nils Lofgren exemplary on lead guitar, his technical mastery matched to an almost punk-like frenzy; Steve van Zandt beams like a Cheshire cat throughout, a man who seems to live out a fantasy each time he goes onstage.
Now it seems that Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will return to the UK next summer. Two shows at Manchester venue Co-Op Live have been confirmed, on May 17th and 20th.
Hitting Anfield Stadium in Liverpool on June 4th, tickets for the shows go on sale from 10am on October 11th via LiveNation.co.uk.
But that’s not all…
The new tour dates arrives shortly before the release of Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band – a Thom Zimny-directed film coming to Hulu and Disney+ on October 25th.
It’s an intimate and in-depth look at the creation of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’s legendary live performances; the official trailer is online now at BruceSpringsteen.net.
