Broken Social Scene Add More UK Tour Dates

Canadian indie collective Broken Social Scene have added yet more dates to their upcoming British tour.

Through their studio albums, the Arts & Crafts label and a myriad of side projects Broken Social Scene have shifted the way fans perceive Canadian music.

Taking time off to pursue other projects, Broken Social Scene are due to return later this year with their first album in four years. ‘Forgiveness Rock Record’ is set to be released in early May, with fans desperate to hear new material from the group.

Reconvening for a British tour, the band have released details of the shows piece by piece. Broken Social Scene are set to perform at the upcoming All Tomorrows Parties festival, curated by Pavement.

The stuff of indie music dreams, Broken Social Scene have been asked by Pavement to play at Minehead. In addition to this the Canadian collective have confirmed a show at London’s renowned Heaven venue.

With fans clamouring for more dates, Broken Social Scene have confirmed a new series of British shows.

The Canadian group will launch their assault on this Sceptred Isle with a show at London’s Brixton Academy on May 13th. Moving across the country, Broken Social Scene will finish the tour at Sheffield on July 9th.

Fear not though – the band will also be playing at Scotland’s T In The Park and Irish event Oxegen.
